Shakira is coming back to "The Voice," but not as a judge.

The Colombian singer said that she might come back to "The Voice" as a performer.

"Maybe to perform," Shakira said during the premiere of the new animated film "Zootopia."

When asked why she left the singing reality TV show, the 39-year-old answered that she was busy.

"I had to do other things," she said. "I had to take care of my baby. I got pregnant again. I've been operating among pacifiers and bottles and diapers and now I'm ready to make new music again. I'm really hungry and thirsty for it."

Shakira voices Gazelle in the movie and she is characterized to be someone that stands up for equality. The mother of two shared that her son Milan, 3, has seen the movie twice in its English and Spanish versions.

"It was hard for him at first to grasp the concept of his mom being a gazelle and a gazelle being his mom," Shakira explained."But he started to understand Mom did the voice of the character and it is an animated character. He loved the movie and gave it his undivided attention."

Before voicing her character, Shakira demanded to have her animal alter ego be more "like her" because the animators had made her too thin.

"There's a lot of aspects of her anatomy that needed to look a little more like me so that's when I suggested to them to give her a little more meat, because she was a bit too skinny. She was too fit. She needed to be curvier," Shakira explained.

Gazelle was given a makeover and as a result, she now has wider hips, longer lashes, wavy hair and darker eyes.

"I feel like her and I have a common denominator. When the directors told me about her I said 'That is me.'but she was too slim so I asked them to give her more curves and put more meat on the bones. She needs bigger hips so she has them now," Shakira said.

The Colombiana adds that she relates to Gazelle's social consciousness and impact as a celebrity. She also shared that it was an "interesting" process that she recorded Gazelle before they animated her so the studio could emulate her expressions while recording.

"Zootopia" premieres in US theaters on March 4, 2016. The movie also contains a soundtrack sung by Shakira called "Try Everything."
