The Friday, July 1 Mega Millions jackpot stands at a staggering $415 million after there were no grand prize winners in the June 28, 2016. drawing, when the jackpot stood at $390 million. The $415 million jackpot is the fourth largest in the game's history, offering a single game winner the option of walking away with a cash option, lump sum payment of $286 million.

The winning numbers in the June 28 drawing were 15, 17, 20, 35 and 55 and the winning Gold Mega Ball number was 7. The winning megaplier number was 2.

Two Players won $1 Million Each 

Two players matched all five white balls in Tuesday's game, winning prizes of $1 million each. The winning tickets were sold in New Jersey and Texas.

Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 75 and the Mega Ball numbers are numbered 1 through 15. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 259 million.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each. You can watch a live stream of Friday night's draw.

The last Mega Millions jackpot winner was on March 8, when a winning ticket was sold in the Washington state area. The all-time record Mega Millions jackpot was bagged on March 30, 2012, when three winners shared a jackpot of $656 million.

Powerball Jackpot at $243 Million

Meanwhile, the Saturday, July 2 Powerball jackpot stands at $243 million with a cash option prize of $165.9 million.

There were no jackpot winners in the June 29 drawing, when the winning numbers were 23, 29, 37, 60 and 64. The winning Red Powerball Power number was 6 and the Power Play number was 2.
