Donald Trump's New York fraud trial continued as his eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, finally took the stand as a witness after a judge compelled her to testify. However, unlike her father, the former model and Trump Organization executive was a lot more cordial in the stand and a lot less combative.

During the trial, Ivanka was presented with an email conversation she had with Trump Organization attorney Jason Greenblatt. The company lawyer was reportedly worried about a 2012 deal with Deutsche Bank to purchase the Doral golf club in Miami as it required Donald Trump to maintain a minimum net worth of $3 billion. He asked Ivanka if this "would seem to me to be a problem?"

However, Ivanka Trump answered in another email that this was something they "have known from day one. We wanted to get a great rate and the only way to get the proceeds/term and principle where we want them is to guarantee the deal."

This showed that the financial statements that were found fraudulent were a big part of how Trump bought Doral, with Ivanka emailing the Trump Organization lawyer, "My father will also send you his most recent financial statement by hard mail."

As Yahoo! News pointed out, this exchange between Ivanka and the attorney makes New York Attorney General Letitia James' main accusation against Donald Trump even stronger. The former president and several Trump Organization executives, including sons Don Jr. and Eric, are accused of fraudulently inflating the value of their real estate assets to get more favorable terms on bank loans.

Greenblatt was reportedly worried that Trump might struggle to prove that he could maintain the required $3 billion net worth, and this furthers the suspicion that Trump inflated his properties' values.

Ivanka Trump Did Not Recall Several Details During the Donald Trump New York Fraud Trial

Much like Eric Trump and Don Jr., Ivanka Trump employed the "I do not recall" defense as she repeatedly answered that to several questions asked by the New York AG's lawyers.

When asked about multiple documents and emails that showed she played a key role in deals that obtained loans for the Trump Organization, she repeatedly answered, "I don't recall." This was also her answer when the prosecution disputed Donald Trump's claims that he was worth $4.2 billion in 2011 when in reality he was just worth $2 billion at that time.

New York Attorney General Letitia James Praises Ivanka Trump for Being 'Cordial' But Questions Her Credibility

Ivanka's witness testimony was a stark contrast to her father's as New York Attorney General Letitia James puts it, telling reporters outside that "Ivanka Trump was cordial, she was disciplined, she was controlled and she was very courteous."

However, James, who is suing Donald Trump for $250 million, also questioned the Trump daughter's credibility, pointing out that "her testimony raises questions with regards to its credibility, which will be a question for the finding of fact."

"The reality is, is that based on the evidence, the documentary evidence, she clearly was involved in negotiating and securing loans, favorable loans, for the benefit of the Trump Organization, for Mr. Trump and her brothers and for herself," the New York AG added. "At the end of the day, this case is about fraudulent statements of financial condition that she benefitted from, she was enriched. And clearly, you cannot distance yourself from that fact. The documents do not lie. The numbers do not lie."
