Country music sensation Morgan Wallen was arrested and found himself in trouble with the law after allegedly throwing a chair off a rooftop bar in downtown Nashville.

The incident led to his arrest on charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, adding another chapter to the singer's tumultuous history, Page Six reports.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Wallen was apprehended late Sunday on three felony charges of reckless endangerment. The event took place shortly before 11:00 PM, narrowly avoiding police officers stationed outside the establishment.

Witnesses claimed to have seen Wallen throw a chair from the top floor of Chief's Bar on Broadway.

Wallen's attorney, Worrick Robinson, confirmed the arrest, stating that the singer is fully cooperating with authorities.

Despite the seriousness of the charges, Wallen appeared to be in high spirits during his arrest and subsequent release on bond.

Legal Proceedings and Previous Incidents

Morgan Wallen's bond was set at $15,250, and he was released from custody in the early hours of the morning following the incident in Nashville rooftop bar, CNN Entertainment noted.

He is scheduled to appear in criminal court on May 3 to address the charges against him.

This is not the first time Wallen has faced legal troubles. In 2020, he faced charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct when he was removed from a bar in downtown Nashville.

The incident prompted Wallen to issue a public apology, expressing regret for any harm caused.

"We didn't mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected," Wallen shared on X. "Thank you to the local authorities for being so professional and doing their job with the class. Love y'all," the singer added.

Career Highlights and Controversies

Despite his legal woes, Morgan Wallen remains a prominent figure in the country music scene, according to AP News.

Morgan Wallen, known for hits like "Last Night" and "Thought You Should Know," has overcome past career controversies.

His third studio album, "One Thing at a Time," topped the charts and garnered critical acclaim, solidifying his status as one of contemporary country's biggest names.

However, Wallen's success has been marred by controversies, including a suspension from his label in 2021 following the emergence of a video showing him using a racial slur.
