Don Omar is in the middle of a domestic abuse case, and he's ready to move forward.

The singer, who has been charged with two counts of threatening a person and two counts of weapons violation, was supposed to appear on Oct. 14. The case was postponed for the second time, and now it will take place on Nov. 5.

His ex-girlfriend, Rebeca Lopez, is sick and has not been able to show up, reports say.

But Lopez is now looking to have Don Omar's restraining order lifted, which would free him to see her. Many are speculating that it might mean that the two might be back together, and it was previously reported that Lopez was paid $350,000 to drop the charges.

In a new interview, Don Omar says that neither he nor his people did not buy her off. He adds that he has no idea where his ex-girlfriend is.

Instead, he just wants everything to be resolved quickly.

"What I want is for this to be over," he said.

He was arrested on Sept. 17, and was released after paying $600,000 bail. He was also given an ankle monitor.

Don Omar and Lopez both wrote messages on social media where they explained there were no hard feelings between the two.

He still only has positive things to say about the woman he dated for three years.

"Rebeca has all the characteristics that I needed and wanted in a woman, and she keeps having them," he said.

The singer's house arrest sentence was recently modified. He is now allowed to leave his home between 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays. On Sundays, he has to stay at home.

So far, he's managed to keep a positive attitude.

"I have the capacity to leave everything behind without holding back, without holding grudges," he said. "Well, the only thing I am certain of is that the best is yet to come."
