CBS 'Criminal Minds' Season 10, Episode 4 Spoilers: Killer Has Skin-Crawling Disorder in Next New Episode 'The Itch' [Watch]
The next episode of "Criminal Minds" promises to make your skin crawl as the BAU investigatives the murder crimes of a new unsub with a very unique skin condition.
In the upcoming episode, titled "The Itch," the elite FBI division will track down a killer with a unique skin disorder who tortures his victims by covering them with insects so that they can feel his pain, teases a promo video.
According to CarterMatt, the official synopsis for "The Itch" states that "a series of mysterious deaths in Atlanta, will leave the BAU searching for an unsub with an obsessive skin condition."
A number of actors will guest star on the episode, including Jon Abrahams, Brian Maillard, Jeff Lorch, John Prosky and Alicia Coppola, as well as Ronobir Lahiri as Dr. William Suri and Cullen Douglas as Dr. Tony, reports The Hollywood Hills.
During the last episode of "Criminals Minds," viewers learned more about FBI agent Kate Callahan, played by Jennifer Love Hewitt, while the BAU investigated a crash site.
It turns out that Kate's sister and brother-in-law died on 9/11 while they working at the Pentagon. As a result, she adopted their daughter, Meg. However, the tough detective made it clear that she doesn't want to be known as the "weepy agent" or get sympathy for the hardship that she's endured.
Reid also opened up, sharing that he watched his girlfriend's murder and that his mother is schizophrenic.
Hewitt was cast on the show in lieu of actress Jeanne Tripplehorn, who left the series in last season's shocking finale. Although Tripplehorn's character FBI agent Alex Blake was one of the main characters on the show, Blake made a sudden exit after she was traumatized over Spencer Reid's gunshot injuries. As a result, she decided to quit her job.
Season 10 Episode 4 of "Criminal Minds," "The Itch," will air on Wednesday, Oct. 22, on CBS.
