Tila Tequila, whose real name is Tila Nguyen, became a mom for the first time when she gave birth to a healthy daughter named Isabella Monroe Nguyen on Sunday, reports Us Weekly.

The baby girl came into the world weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces at 7:05 p.m. on Nov. 16.

"I am so in love with her," the former MTV reality star told Us Weekly. "She's so perfect and beautiful."

The 33-year-old announced her pregnancy in April via Facebook.

"I truly feel that my baby has saved my life, and I will do whatever it takes to give my little baby the whole entire world!" she told Us Weekly at the time. "I know I'm going to cry so much when the baby is finally born later this year. I just want my baby to be proud of me and to know how much I love him or her. To love someone else unconditionally is one of the best feelings in the entire world, and I hope I will have plenty more pregnancies to come."

In the following months, the "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" star updated fans on her website with photos of her growing baby bump and blog posts about her experiences with pregnancy.

The Singaporean-born television personality has expressed hopes and dreams for her daughter, blogging, "I want my baby girl to grow up a very strong, and independent woman just like I am, and you know what? I know that she will!"

"My daughter will grow up to be a leader and stand up for all of the people who cannot stand up for themselves," Tila Tequila wrote on her blog. "My daughter will be beautiful just like her mama, but at the same time I will raise her to be a humble and loving person who respect herself and others."

Radar Online reported earlier this year that the baby's father is Thomas Paxton Whitaker, a songwriter and musician, and that Tequila and Whitaker live together.

"Yes, ma'am. I am the father of her/our baby," the 42-year-old Whitaker told Radar Online. "Tila has a wonderful relationship with my daughters. ... We are all very happy about the arrival of a new edition to our family and about the blessing of the birth of a child into the world."
