Earlier this week, Jimmy Fallon paid tribute to '90s hit "Saved by the Bell" on "The Tonight Show" by creating a comedy sketch of the show with the original cast members and original set, Entertainment Tonight reports.

"Saved by the Bell" cast members, Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano), Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), and Dennis Haskins (Professor Belding), all reunited for a nostalgic eight-minute skit that featured the actors along with a younger-looking Jimmy Fallon talking about their plans for the school dance.

And while Fallon's audience screamed in cheer for the surprising reunion, many noticed the absence of two other original "SBTB" cast members: Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle) and Dustin Diamond (Screech).

Reps for both of the missing actors have since spoken out about their absence.

A rep for Voorhies explained that she was unable to attend the reunion because of a prior work engagement.

"Lark would have loved to be part of the Jimmy Fallon skit (as she is a big fan of the show), however due to an intense work schedule she was not available," Voorhies publicist told E! News.

Meanwhile, Diamond's rep named his comedy gigs as the reason for his absence. "He has a very active calendar of appearances, comedy gigs and the like," Diamond's rep said.

But despite the statements from their reps, E! News suggests that Diamond's legal troubles might be the reason for his no-show.

E! News reports Diamond recently plead not guilty for two charges of second-degree reckless endangering safety, a felony, and two misdemeanors, following an incident where he was accused of stabbing a man at The Grand Avenue Saloon. Diamond is accused of assaulting the man after his fiancee, Amanda Schutz, became involved in an altercation with the unidentified male.
