Kanye West walked out of a doorway with Kim Kardashian in Paris wearing an all-black outfit. And though Kardashian is known to draw attention for her outfits, it was West who people could not stop talking about. 

West was wearing a pair of heeled boots made of velvet. The picture sparked some users on Twitter to wonder why he was wearing these boots and where he got them from, according to E! News. 

West and Kardashian were headed to the Givenchy fashion show during Paris Fashion Week. Her Givenchy jumpsuit showed plenty of cleavage, but West's boots were far more shocking to social media users. 

One Twitter user said, "we just gonna act like Kanye isn't wearing Kim's boots?"

But not everyone was critical. 

"yasssss! kanye beta werq them boots tho!" another commenter said. 

Could these boots be a future fashion trend? Refinery 29 pointed out that they do look a little like a Rick Owens man heel.

Maybe Kanye is ahead of the trend and knows something that the general public does not know.

Twitter users probably disagree though:

"Kanye West is not a fashion genius. This man is giving us Payless Shoes, basics from H&M and he wears Kim heeled boots," one Twitter user said.

Another Twitter user said "Kanye letting us know his next project is some sort of remake of "Kinky Boots."

Kanye West sure has taken the focus off Kim Kardashian. Her outfit paired with her new blonde hair would normally create more of a reaction, but seeing Kanye wearing velvet boots with a heel is far more interesting and abnormal.
