WWE SmackDown Spoilers, Results for June 18, 2015: Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns in Main Event
Less than 24 hours after Brock Lesnar made his return, "WWE SmackDown" was taped and, as expected, he won't be part of the show in Buffalo, New York.
"SmackDown" opened with the latest Money in the Bank winner Sheamus. During his promo, he was interrupted by Dean Ambrose. While the two superstars discussed words, Kane appeared and made issued a handicap match between himself and Sheamus against Ambrose.
Instead of holding the match for the main event, the Ambrose vs. Kane and Sheamus match immediately starts. The match ends in disqualification because Roman Reigns got involved. The match was then amended as a tag-team match with Kane and Sheamus against Ambrose and Reigns for the show's main event.
The Divas are next with Brie Bella vs. Paige. The match ends with Bella on top after Alicia Fox interfered and pushed Paige off the top rope.
NXT Champion Kevin Owens did the next in-ring promo. Cesaro interrupted him, and a match was set for the two later in the show.
In singles competition, Dolph Ziggler defeated Bo Dallas. The match happened after Dallas delivered a promo and criticized Ziggler and Lana.
Later, Neville defeated Xavier Woods. New Day members Kofi Kingston and Big E tried to interfere but were blocked by WWE Tag Team Champions The Prime Time Players.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins appeared, and he cuts a promo against Lesnar, his opponent at the next WWE pay-per-view event, "Battleground."
Next on "SmackDown" was Cesaro vs. Owens. The NXT Champion won the match by the pop-up powerbomb in what was reportedly the best match of the night.
In the main event, the heels were victorious. Kane and Sheamus defeated Ambrose and Reigns courtesy of Bray Wyatt appearing on the titantron and distracting Reigns.
