As we hope the winter season to be over already, it is never too soon to get a head start on spring preparation -- check out the A to Z fashion guide on how to shop the latest trends off this year's spring/summer 2014 runway.

A is for Athletic:

Start off the new season with light parkas, athletic vests, sporty harem pants, drawstring trousers, stretchy leggings, or anything that is made out of sweatshirt fabrics or parachute silk. The comfortable, relaxed silhouettes would be great in fresh white or neutral tones, such as gray, nude, crème or khakis, with pops of neon. Complete your tomboy look with sporty bracelets, canvas, slip-on, or even a pair of high heel sneakers. Look out for Alexander Wang, Isabel Marant, Y-3, and Stelle McCartney for Adidas.

B is for Bows:

You should focus on contrasting colors for accessorizing with bows. For example, a light pink chiffon dress detailed with a large black ribbon would give you a nice, feminine look. Give an accent in your ordinary outfit by wearing something that will make a statement, such as bow belts, playful accessories, dramatic headpieces or oversized adornments. Fashion inspirations: Luella, Anya Hindmarch, Lulu Guinness, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Kate Spade.

C is for Candy Colors:

Spring is all about bright, vibrant colors. Wearing complimenting color combinations of sherbet shades or pastel hues, such as peppermint green, ice blue, lilac, lemon yellow, or pastel pink will add a whole lot of fun and excitement to your daily outfit.

D is for Denim:

The trend is definitely back -- you can go double denim or even head-to-toe denim, and it is never considered too much. Mix and match the different washes of dresses, miniskirts, shirts, slouchy jeans or jumpsuits, whether faded or worn. You can also simply rock a pair of classic blue skinny jeans with washed out light blue denim shirt. Accessorize your look with statement-making chunky gold jewelry pieces, just like how Rihanna did in the latest spring/summer 2014 ad campaign for French couture fashion house, Balmain.

E is for Ethnic:

Think simple silhouettes in bold clashing colors, such as burnt orange, coral, aqua, forest green, or blood red, paired with dark shades of gray and black. Shop for A-line skirts, shredded dresses, shift dresses, smocks, or baggy jumpsuits with layered patterns of tribal mix and Aztec prints.

F is for Feminine:

It is the main trend for this year's spring season. Look out for frilly blouses, oversized corsages, fairytale frocks, see-through skirts, or tiered skirts of satin, chiffon, gauzy fabrics, or floaty tulle, detailed with sheer panels, romantic ruffles, or dramatic draping. Think plenty of pinks, soft pastels, or nostalgic floral patterns to imitate the style of goddess. Perfect your feminine look by accessorizing with big bows or any detailing with gold sequins.

G is for Graphic digital:

Boldness is another key for the upcoming season. Create structured silhouettes by sporting bodycon dresses or eye-catching miniskirts, designed with geometric, symmetrical patterns, digitally-manipulated patterns, computerized graphics, abstract imagery, or trompe l'oeil effects. Opt for Alexander McQueen or Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci for futuristic elaborate designs.

H is for High Hemlines:

Make it short and simple. Shop for sporty miniskirts or figure-hugging micro mini-dresses in thigh-skimming lengths, made of stretchy fabrics with bold neon colors matched with black. Give an edge to the modern minimalist look with a pair of oversized sunglasses and black ankle boots.

I is for Intricate:

It's all about the details. Wear a piece of art -- definitely go for ornate embellishments, statement accessories, oversized necklaces, layered jewelry, or stacked bracelets with beading, intricate detailing and elaborate design. Complete your luxurious spring look with antique gold, dull metal, or crystals.

J is for Jumpsuit:

Jumpsuit is such a fun article of clothing to wear. If you do not own one, consider getting one for the upcoming season. The slouchy jumpsuits come in a variety of designs and details -- draped or gathered, pleats, folds, nipped-in waist, low cut deep v-neck, and more. Find a full-length jumpsuit in muted hues, metallic, silvery grays, or high-shine black of silky fabrics. Complete your loose-fitting, asymmetric soft structured look with a pair of simplistic high heels.

K is for Knots:

Step away from the boredom. Simple is great but you must remember, Spring 2014 is all about fun and being elaborate! Look out for twists, pleats, folds, or knotted fabrics while you are shopping. Look out for girlie dresses or ruffled skirts of soft silks in thigh-skimming lengths.

L is for Leather:

Leather is classic. It never goes out of style -- whether masculine or feminine, you can go either way with this special kind of fabric. Give a nice, luxurious touch to your outfits by choosing micro-mini shorts, structured dresses or fierce skirts with high waistlines, simple shifts, quilting, pleats, or cut-outs. Look further for soft buttery finishes, or glossy and high-shine finish; caramel, tan, faded brown, matt black, or even in vibrant colors.

M is for Modern Military:

In this case, M also stands for Masculine. Look out for safari suits, button-down coats, belted utility jackets, shirt dresses, or pleat-front pants in army green, khaki colors, muted hues, washed beige, or distressed leather. Give a subtle feminine touch to your outfits with glittery epaulettes or medal adornments. Don't forget to throw in a pair of black leather combat boots -- then you will be all set for the fashion war.

N is for Nude:

Nude is definitely feminine. Draped dresses made of sheer chiffon or silky fabrics in soft skin tones, pale peach, blush pink, or light caramel will undoubtedly capture his heart. Also consider investing your money in a pair of Christian Louboutin's nude pumps -- they come in every skin tone.

O is for Opulent:

Dazzling and shimmering! Think of the Oscars. Go for full-length lavish gowns in golden hues, made of lamé, liquid silks or glittering fabrics, ornately detailed with hints of romantic ruffles, decadent draping, lace inserts, bejeweled embellishments, sparkling sequins, or antique finishes. Complete the extravagant look by sporting your hair in rich, voluminous waves.

P is for Pink:

This is another feminine factor. Create girly silhouettes with soft chiffons, sheer skirts, romantic ruffles in the entire spectrum of color pink, including pastel, blush, salmon, fuchsia, magenta, you name it.

Q is for Quaint:

Go countryside chic with: natural-look materials, linen, hessian, lace overlays, frayed fabrics, ragged hemlines, rustic charm, floral appliqués, intricate embroidery, dainty designs, earthy tones, pretty pastels, flared skirts, prairie skirts, and chunky wooden clogs.

R is for Ruffles:

Ruffles have an amazing power to give dramatic effects to your outfits. They certainly make statement silhouettes with cascading folds, pleats, asymmetric lines, bouncing hemlines, or tiers. Make your boring everyday office work outfit stand out by adding romantic ruffles to your dresses, skirts, coats of fluttering fabrics.

S is for Shorts:

Warmer weather is on the way and we should think of ways to flaunt our legs. Whether they are micro mini-hotpants or slick tailored city shorts, short are great for easy, casual looks. They come in numerous details -- look out for the ones with paper-bag waists, belted waists, turn-ups, pockets, or perfectly preened pins of luxe fabrics, high-shine materials, distressed denim, or leather.

T is for Trench:

You can never go wrong by adding a simple classic trench coat in your outfit. But for this year's spring season, you can actually go beyond and choose the ones with elaborate details. You can apply the aforementioned trends, such as knots, twists, pleats, or candy colors to make your decision. Also, puffed shoulders, ruffled hems, double-breasted, silky satins, and high-shined fabrics are some of the trendy details to look out for.

U is for Underwear for as outerwear:

Picture a scene from Moulin Rouge: Go for sultry, seductive style with vintage-feel separates, silky bralette tops, camisoles, sheer tops, corsets, girdles, basques, flirty lace shorts, high-waist knickers, or visible underwear. Complete your boudoir chic look with suspender belts or lace detailing.

V is for Vivid prints:

Spring is the season of flowers. Wow everyone in your mini-dresses, peplum dresses, or curve-hugging skirts, detailed with bright hues, clashing color combinations, splash of floral patterns, eye-catching patterns, or swirling graphics. Check out Kenzo's latest prints and patterns of the season: The Lotus Eye.

W is for White dresses:

White is the new black: you might as well go for all different shades of white out there, including washed white, off-white, or creams. Remember to keep clean silhouettes with delicate designs, such as tailored linen pencil skirts or fitting shirt-dresses with crisp collars. You can also aim for more feminine look by wearing the soft tailored, draped or pleated LWD (little white dress) or flirty skirts of sheer fabrics, decorated with romantic ruffles.

X is for X-ray:

Don't be shy anymore; flaunt what you've got. Daring designs, such as sheer tops, peek-a-boo panels, see-through skirts, visible underwear, or anything made with fishnet fabrics are surprisingly in -- thanks to notorious twerking pop star Miley Cyrus. Unleash your alter ego by wearing shock-factor separates in various contrasting colors.

Y is for Yellow:

The sun is up for spring! The color yellow certainly reminds us of spring's awakening. Welcome the new season with dainty mini-dresses in shades of yellow, such as bold buttercup, soft lemon, amber, primrose, or saffron. Choose pieces with simple shapes and clean cut lines, made with soft fabrics. Keep in mind: bright and light.

Z is for Zoo:

Animal prints are still in. Make a bold fashion statement by sporting fun playsuits, flowy tops and dresses, skirts with ragged hemlines, or slouchy jumpsuits in clashing bold prints of leopard, zebra, or giraffe. You can also mix and match separates in different animal prints. Compliment your wild nature look with unique tribal accessories or decorative plumage.
