PS Plus July 2015 Free Games: PlayStation Marks 5 Years with Mystery Limited Edition Free Gift for PS+ Members
Monday marked the fifth anniversary of PlayStation Plus and the service has announced a "limited edition gift" that should be arriving in the mail soon.
What's the gift? We'll have to wait for the veteran PS+ members who receive it to post online, but we're guessing it's probably related to gaming. Or it could be memorabilia. PS Plus was a little vague in the wording, saying the "limited edition gift will be arriving in the mail" in one breath, and then telling PS+ members to "keep a close eye on your emails" today in another.
But whatever it is, it promises to be unique to each PS Plus member that's lucky enough to receive the free gift: "Your print will be unique to you and show everything you've achieved as a PlayStation Plus member."
So, probably not a free game. In any case, any free stuff is great, and especially a five-year anniversary gift tailored to your PS Plus record could be something quite valuable, if only personally.
In fact, the "limited edition"-ness of the gift was made quite clear in PlayStation Plus's announcement, where it specified the gift is "for those of you that have been part of the journey since the very start." Quite a bummer for new PS Plus members.
July 2015 PS Plus Deals, So Far
All PS Plus members, new and old, are awaiting the July 2015 PlayStation Plus free games list and new releases, and we've got a head start on what's likely to be on offer for free when the full details are released by the end of the week.
According to Gamepur, there are two very likely titles to hit the free games list, due to a leak of the Sony Japan 5-year PS+ anniversary announcement video.
Those titles are "Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-" for PS4 and "Batman: Arkham Begins Blackgate" for PS Vita. The Batman title is your best bet across markets, given the upcoming release of "Arkham Knight," while "Guilty Gear" is a bit more iffy and could be region specific.
