Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Relationship News: DJ Warns 'Shake It Off' Singer to Stop Obsessing Over old Boyfriends
Taylor Swift's boyfriend Calvin Taylor is agitated over her reported habit of obsessing over former boyfriends and is warning her to end the practice now.
According to HollywoodLife, the 31-year-old DJ has grown tired of the "Shake It Off" singer's annoying habit of keeping tabs on all her many exes and simply doesn't want to have to deal with it any more.
"Calvin has separated himself from his playboy ways, and is all in with his relationship with Taylor," said a source. "He doesn't like when she mentions her exes; he wants her to not talk about them even if it is throwing shade at them. He wants her to be totally devoted to him."
As it is, word is Harris gets jealous just about every time Swift seems to fixate on one of her exes and recently became angered over rumors she might still have feelings for One Direction band member and former flame Harry Styles.
All the most recent drama started when the "Bad Blood" singer liked a Tumblr post that called Harry "immature."
Besides enraging his fans, Swift's actions also called attention to the fact that she still seems to have emotions about their breakup. Word is the backlash from all the back and forth became so intense, Harris had to make his Instagram account private to stop all the mean-spirited messages he was getting from those defending Styles.
Swift and Harris have now been dating for roughly a year and recent rumors were that the two were still going strong. Several media outlets recently reported Swift is now planning to take an extended break after her 1989 World Tour ends to be able to spend more time with her boyfriend.
"Taylor hasn't officially set a time limit for how long she's taking off but she's excited," a source said. "Taylor is really looking forward to an extended break after her tour and the holidays. She will still write and collaborate when the timing is right but she has been telling people not to expect a new album from her for potentially three years."
