'iZombie' Season 2 Episode 9 Spoilers: Can Liv Do Blaine's Demand in 'Capetown?'
Can Liv do Blaine's demand in "Capetown," the ninth episode of "iZombie" Season 2?
"Capetown," written by Diane Ruggiero-Wright and directed by Mairzee Almas, will be another interesting episode to watch, basing on its synopsis. Comic Book noted its plot from The CW:
"Justice Rolls In -- Liv (Rose McIver), Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) work together in solving the murder of Chris Allred (guest star Jay Hindle), who was a high school shop teacher by day, and a vigilante crime-fighter named "The Fog" by night. Liv gets into trouble while on superhero brains and becomes a little too much for Clive to handle. Meanwhile, Major (Robert Buckley) has an eye opening conversation with a new friend. Lastly, Blaine (David Anders) forces Liv to do the unthinkable."
There's also a clip released that shows what "unthinkable" act Blaine is asking from Liv.
The trailer notes that Blaine is telling Liv to scratch the human he brought to the morgue, where Liv and Ravi works. This means that Blaine is telling Liv to change the man into a zombie.
Will Liv do it? Liv already sacrificed much when she turned Major into a zombie. She also witnessed how a mean human can turn into a very bad zombie when he accidentally turned him into one by tasting her blood. This is the same zombie who almost killed her best friend, Peyton (Aly Michalka) in Season 1.
Why does Blaine need to save this man?
On the clip, Blaine said that this person is the hope for making the cure. Viewers on YouTube are already intrigued how this man is Liv and Ravi's key for an antidote. However, another fan thinks Blaine may just mean he will give the tainted Utopium if Liv saves the guy.
So why is the man important to Blaine? Readers on Spoiler TV think that Blaine may really have a soft side. A fan named "Emily" thinks the man could be Blaine's brother or a very close friend. However, "Ivan" observed that Blaine "doesn't look all worried more like business-like" in the scene, so maybe it is not for any personal reason.
Liv, the new superhero?
Meanwhile, Liv's new brain for the next episode will take her into another level. With her "vigilante" traits, she may have the need to pursuit the person who killed the man, whose brains she just consumed, or fight more crimes.
This promises another worthy episode to watch. Tune in on The CW, Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 9 p.m. ET for the mid-season finale of "iZombie" Season 2.
