‘Clash of Clans’ Update Features: Supercell Reveals New Grand Warden, More Achievements & Details on December Patch
The biggest "Clash of Clans" news have dropped as developer Supercell opens up more about the new patch coming in. The players, who have tuned in since the game's major update has been announced, have known about the new hero for a while, but it makes a debut in the latest sneak peeks and the audience is finally able to get a glimpse of their player.
According to a report from iDigital Times, the third hero of "Clash of Clans" was revealed as the Grand Warden, a character who can be unlocked at Town Hall 11. The Grand Warden is upgradeable up to Level 20 using the elixir and is extremely versatile on the ground or in the air. It can glide over walls in Ground Mode and can be targeted by traps and air defense in Air Mode, so players will learn to use this hero wisely, despite its powerful capabilities.
A report from Gotta Be Mobile revealed that instead of costing Dark Elixir like the other heroes, the Grand Warden can be attained with six million elixir.
The Grand Warden at Level 20 will boast 110 damage per second and 2000 hit points, but its true strength lies in its unique abilities. On offense, it is able to give troops around it an extra boost with the special abilities. With the Grand Warden's Life Aura, everyone inside the radius will get an HP buff while the Eternal Tome will render the troops inside the same radius temporarily invincible and healed even when targeted by inferno.
On defense, the Grand Warden is also a great character as it is able to turn into a statue during a battle, as well as do damage much like a defensive building. Its Life Aura is also a powerful ability on the defensive end as all the troops are granted an HP boost, just like on offense. Players should expect the Grand Warden to be attacked as much as other defensive structures, but the trade off with its extraordinary boosts might prove to be worth the risk.
A bunch of new achievements will also be dropping in the upcoming major update by Supercell. One of the new things players can aim for is the Anti-Artillery achievement, where players are required to destroy 20 entire Eagle Artilleries in battle while Sharing is Caring will reward players for gifting spells to friends and fellow clans.
The Gotta Be Mobile report said the sneak peeks is winding down to its last on Dec. 7.
