Nickelodeon Sam and Cat TV Show Cancellation: Andre Drummond Denies Leaking Hot Jennette McCurdy Pics
The latest news in television is the cancellation of the Nickelodeon show Sam & Cat in spite of its high viewing numbers. Several reports said that production has discontinued because the show was not renewed for another season. HuffPost TV further reported that no confirmation or denials were made by the network as to when the show will return.
The Sam & Cat TV series, with 40 episodes in the first season, was the top-rated series of Nickelodeon starring Jeannette McCurdy and Ariana Grande. According to Deadline, several disagreements arose on set causing emotions to run high. The network announced that production of Sam & Cat is on break this coming week. It also said that this was implemented to give the whole staff (producers and actors) a time to relax. Nickelodeon added that the lengthy production sequences of Sam & Cat made everybody so tired.
According to some sources, the network's announcement came after several indecent pictures of McCurdy were distributed on the internet. The leaked photos have turned the relationship between McCurdy and Nickelodeon into a sticky situation. McCurdy even posted her concern on Twitter, saying that the manner in which Nickelodeon treated her after the leaked photo issue prompted her not to attend the Kids Choice Awards. No comment has been made by Nickelodeon on this issue.
The controversial photos showed McCurdy wearing a thong and a bra that barely covers her private parts. According to McCurdy, there is only one person who could have leaked her pictures online. She requested her disheartened fans on Twitter to "connect the dots."
The Sam & Cat star briefly dated NBA player Andre Drummond sometime in September 2013. It was presumed that the leaks were made in relation to McCurdy declaring that there is nothing special between her and Drummond in her recent podcast. Drummond, on the other hand, fervently contested his participation in the leaked photo scandal of McCurdy during interviews with TMZ.
