John Stamos has dethroned Kim Kardashian by "breaking the Internet" with his bare buns in a new issue of Paper magazine.

The 52-year-old actor, who has a hit new show under his belt, recently showed the world a completely different side of himself in the new issue of Paper magazine -- his backside.

The black and white photo, which was tastefully done, shows Stamos wearing only a basic collared shirt, posing with his back turned. Though he isn't completely naked, Stamos' racy photo has fans saying, "Have mercy" at every glance.

The magazine posted the actor's revealing photo via Instagram on Monday, all while referencing the moon.

After the photo hit the web, Stamos took to Twitter to comment on his missing pants.

He wrote, "So let me get this straight, pants off but leave the shirt on?"

He then went on to play on the Paper magazine's "The New Moon" tweet, by quoting the John Lennon song, "Instant Karma (We All Shine On)."

"Well we all shine on Like the moon and the stars and the sun Well we all shine on Everyone, come on," the actor added.

While the photo was received well by most onlookers, there have been murmurs questioning why the "Grandfathered" actor decided to take part in such a risky shoot. Stamos has always been known for his boyish good looks, but even with all the admiration from fans that he receives, the actor is far from self-absorbed.

When asked by Paper if he keeps track of himself through Google Alerts, Stamos says "No way. I rarely read about myself -- mostly because I'm tired of 'me' -- and also if you believe the good stuff, you have to believe the bad stuff. I just stay away."

As for his thoughts on social media platforms, Stamos reveals that he has a love-hate relationship with them. "Sometimes they all drive me crazy," he says. "Other times, I'm thoroughly entertained."

Paper magazine is also responsible for the infamous "break the Internet" cover Kim Kardashian posed for last year.
