Kim Richards' return to the world of reality TV is proving to be quite plentiful, as she recently began filming a new series about family counseling.

ET Online reports, in addition to returning to the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airwaves, Richards is also currently shooting scenes for a new family counseling reality show.

Sources indicate the premise of the new show revolves around famous mothers and daughters who have faced public struggle and are now in counseling to deal with all the scars. The show is also slate to feature former "Hills" star Heidi Montag and her daughter.

Earlier this year, the 51-year-old Richards entered rehab for an alarming fourth time, after being arrested for public intoxication at a Beverly Hills hotel. Not long after that, Richards suffered yet another public meltdown at her daughter's wedding in Mexico.

In August, she was arrested for shoplifting at a Target in Van Nuys, California and accused of trying to swipe $600 in merchandise. All her troubles led to her being dismissed from the cast of "Real Housewives."

More recently, Richards has seemed to get things under control, moving into a West Hollywood condo in October amid reports that she was finally sober.

Just last month, Richards returned to shooting scenes for "RHOBH" on a part-time basis.

"I spoke to Kim the other day and she was confident and strong," sister and fellow "RHOBH" cast mate Kyle Richards recently told People. "I was like, 'Yes! Let's keep you here.' There are no guarantees, but I'm excited and hopeful."

During at least part of Kim Richard's struggle, the two sisters were estranged from one another. Now Kyle Richards appears hopeful that they might be able to rebuild their relationship.

"I just hope Kim will be healthy, happy and sober for the rest of her life," she said. "She's got four amazing kids, she's an incredible mom and she has a lot to look forward to."
