Kylie Jenner recently posted a photo to Instagram revealing a huge scar on her thigh, which she says she embraces, even though some might see it as a flaw.

The 18-year-old model sits next to her close friend Anastasia Karanikolaou on a bed in the picture, wearing a black mini dress with matching black tie-up boots and crossing one leg over the other, according to People. Karanikolaou wears a white mini dress with matching white tie-up boots.

Jenner captioned the photo, "Matching with day 1 @stassiebaby."

Once fans noticed the scar in this photo, Jenner decided to post another picture to Instagram with the thigh scar in clearer view with the caption, "I love my scar." However, she didn't explain how she got the mark.

Four years ago, she revealed the scar's origin in an interview with Celebuzz.

"Yes, I do have a scar on my leg," Jenner said. "When I was about 5 my sister and I were playing hide and seek and I hid inside this really tall-enclosed gate. After a while when my sister didn't find me I had to climb up on this sharp pole sticking out from the gate. I slipped and the pole went into my leg. I tried pulling away to get the pole out but it just tore through my whole leg."

Since being injured at five and receiving the scar, Jenner said the mark has gotten smaller due to the fact she's grown so much since the incident.

Jenner appears on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," alongside her sisters Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and their mother Kris Jenner and father, who recently transitioned to become a woman, Caitlyn Jenner. New episodes of the show air on the E! television network on Sundays at 9 p.m ET.
