Daniel Bryan has been out of action since April due to concussion-like symptoms and since he has not been cleared to wrestle, he is doing a promotional in Asia for the WWE. In an interview with The New Paper in Singapore, Bryan said that his WWE career may be over.

"I think it could be the end of my career in WWE, but I don't think it will be the end of my career. I could find another passion, but it would just be sad because this is what I have been most passionate about since I was five," Bryan said.

The former WWE world heavyweight champion revealed in an interview with IGN that his personal doctor, a doctor for the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, has cleared him to wrestle again. However, WWE's doctor, Dr. Joseph Maroon, has advised to not let him wrestle again due to his history of concussions.

The 34-year-old was scheduled to see a third doctor to assess his condition, but no details about the results have been reported yet. Bryan also told IGN that if he can't wrestle again, he is open to working as a commentator or as on-air manager.

After Singapore, the leader of the YES Movement went to Malaysia and revealed that he had still not been cleared to come back to wrestling. If he is indeed allowed back, Bryan wants to regain the intercontinental championship and make it as prestigious as a world title, much like how John Cena elevated the U.S. title.

"I was really disappointed when I had to give up the Intercontinental title because I wanted to turn that into a main event title. I would love to come back and feature in the Intercontinental title picture," Bryan told Pass the Popcorn.

He adds that WWE has already offered him non-wrestling roles while he is not yet ready to return to the ring. "They asked me a bunch of stuff of what I'd like to do like announce or be a trainer at NXT. I'm sure at some point in my life I would, but right now it would be too soon," Bryan said.

While out of action, he has been keeping himself busy as former UFC lightweight champion, Benson Henderson revealed in a recent interview with Sporting News that Bryan is currently training MMA at the MMA Lab in Glendale, Arizona. Henderson said that he is impressed with Bryan's Brazilian jiu-jitsu ability after earning a blue belt under his BJJ coach John Crouch.
