Nick (David Giuntoli) will engage in an intense war with evil Wesen that attempt to take over the world in Friday's all-new episode of "Grimm."

A synopsis for the midseason finale, which is titled "Wesen Nacht" reveals that Nick and Hank will go on the hunt to find the Wesen gang behind a series of criminal acts, including vandalism, murder and kidnapping.

"Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) investigate a wave of coordinated Wesen gang vandalism that results in the death of a local business owner and the kidnapping of Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee's (Bree Turner) friend. As they dig deeper, they learn that Portland wasn't the only city hit with a wave of violence. Meanwhile, Truble (guest star Jacqueline Toboni) fills Nick and Adalind (Claire Coffee) on what she has been up to. Elsewhere, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) dips his toes into politics as he endorses a local candidate," it reads, according to CarterMatt.

In the action-packed trailer video for the upcoming episode, Nick says "it's war," while Trubel declares that "it's not just in this country, it's everywhere." Other clips in the preview video show intense fighting scenes.

NBC also released a sneak peek video that show Nick and Hank interrogating a wesen woman who they believe is connected to the kidnapping of Monroe and Rosalee's friend.

"Do you know anything about this?" Nick asks the woman while presenting her with a white paper with the red four-scratch mark. "You have been positively identified in a kidnapping."

"You're looking at federal and state charges," adds Hank. "Not to mention, acts of terrorism and murder ... you're looking at a minimum of 20 years."

However, the woman refuses to cooperate, and eventually discovers that Nick is a Grimm. That's when she freaks out and asks him if he is going to kill her.

"Grimm" Season 5 Episode 6, "Wesen Nacht ," premieres on Friday, Dec. 11 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
