'The Good Wife' Season 7 Episode 10 Spoilers: Ruth Tries to Keep Alicia and Jason Apart, Eli Falls for Courtney in 'KRS' [Video]
Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) will face more controversy over her budding romance with Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) while Eli (Alan Cumming) appears to fall for Courtney Paige (Vanessa Williams) in the midseason finale of "The Good Wife" this Sunday.
In the last episode, Ruth (Margo Martindale) became suspicious of Alicia and Jason after she noticed the two displaying flirtatious behavior in public. Ruth then warned Eli that they might be engaging in a potential love affair, which could jeopardize Peter's (Chris Noth) presidential campaign. In turn, Eli gave Alicia and Jason each individual warnings about having an affair. However, his stern words seemed to fall on deaf ears.
A preview video for the upcoming episode, which is titled "KRS," reveals that Lucca (Cush Jumbo) will feel conflicted about defending a new case.
"I don't know if I want to win this one," she tells Alicia over drinks at a bar.
"It's odd that someone can be so good, yet think so bad," says Alicia in response.
Meanwhile, it looks like Eli will catch feelings for Courtney after they sleep together.
"I think you're perfect for me," he tells the billionaire donor.
The synopsis also teases that Ruth will go to extreme measures in effort to keep Jason and Alicia apart. Plus, Alicia and her law firm will also take on a case defending a renowned surgeon.
"Alicia and Lucca will defend a well-respected surgeon accused of plotting to commit a crime. Also, Ruth is going to scheme to remove Jason from Alicia's life by trying to persuade Courtney Paige to hire him for business in another state. Vanessa Williams Returns as Businesswoman Courtney Paige and Peter Gallagher Appears as Attorney Ethan Carver," reads the synopsis for the episode, according to The Hollywood Hills.
Episode 10 of Season 7 of "The Good Wife," "KRS," airs on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
