WWE TLC 2015 Matches, Predictions, Schedule, How to Watch: Roman Reigns to Defeat Sheamus?
WWE's final pay-per-view event of the year has come to the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, where Boston's own John Cena and Sasha Banks are not booked for the show.
Tag Team Elimination Match: The Dudley Boyz, Rhyno and Tommy Dreamer vs. The Wyatt Family:
After losing another feud, this time against Kane and The Undertaker, The Wyatt Family shifted their attention to another "family": The Dudley Boyz. To even the numbers, the Dudleys reintroduced fans to members of the ECW family, namely Tommy Dreamer and Rhyno. For Rhyno, his return to the main roster comes after a stint on NXT, the WWE's developmental system. The two factions have gone back and forth, although there really isn't a purpose for the feud.
Prediction: Bray Wyatt has lost most of his feuds this year, and he -- and his "family" -- need to capture a win.
Chairs Match: United States Championship: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Jack Swagger:
United States Champion Alberto Del Rio has another feud against Jack Swagger. Ironically, Swagger participated in a United States Championship match at last year's "TLC" against then-champion Rusev. This time around, Swagger's former manager Zeb Colter has been managing Del Rio since the latter's return to the WWE a few months ago. During the last "Monday Night Raw," Del Rio appears to have ended his partnership with Colter.
Prediction: Del Rio wins.
Intercontinental Championship: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Dean Ambrose:
Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose are fighting in the second consecutive pay-per-view show, and once again have potential to steal the show. This time around, the two men are not competing to advance in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament -- as seen in "Survivor Series" -- but Owens is defending his championship title against the No. 1 contender, Ambrose. By defeating Dolph Ziggler and Tyler Breeze during an episode of "SmackDown," Ambrose became No. 1 contender.
Prediction: As much as Ambrose deserves a win and a title reign (any title), Owens will win. Ambrose's popularity will not fade with a loss against Owens.
Triple Threat Tag Team Ladder Match: WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) vs. The Lucha Dragons vs. The Usos:
It's another match that has potential to steal the show. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are on fire with their ability to entertain the crowd, despite being heels. The Usos are finally having their title shots after one Uso returned from injury. The Lucha Dragons, meanwhile, has been picking up steam by defeating members of New Day. The important element, however, is the role of Xavier Woods, who will likely reside managing the team on Sunday night, and it could play in the trio retaining the titles.
Prediction: Although The Lucha Dragons, who have previously held the NXT Tag Team Championship, should have a tag-title reign on the main roster, it's most likely The New Day will retain due to Woods' interference. The match is a no-disqualification match, therefore, Woods is free to give his New Day teammates the winning edge.
WWE Divas Championship: Charlotte (c) (with Ric Flair) vs. Paige:
Paige has yet another opportunity to win the WWE Divas Championship on Sunday. Champion Charlotte, however, has shown heelish tendencies in the past few weeks since their previous match as "Survivor Series." Charlotte's father, Ric Flair, has also appeared on television in the past few "Raw's" to support his daughter and likely to be ringside on Sunday.
Prediction: Charlotte retains as the WWE is booking her character's "dirty" tactics.
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match: WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus (c) vs. Roman Reigns:
Roman Reigns gets his rematch to regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after only holding it for five minutes and 15 seconds at "Survivor Series." At last month's pay per view, Sheamus cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to successfully pin Reigns. Since "Survivor Series," The Authority and Sheamus has thrown obstacles towards Reigns but he keeps succeeding. Even with Sheamus forming the League of Nations faction with Del Rio, Rusev and King Barrett, Reigns has still come out on top. During the last "Monday Night Raw," Reigns looked strong against Sheamus on a couple of segments.
Prediction: The WWE wants to give Reigns the championship, but is it possible that other non-WWE factors will prevent them? Currently, Irishmen are definitely having luck. Finn Bálor has been the NXT Champion since July and the UFC saw Conor McGregor become the Undisputed Featherweight Champion after defeating Jose Aldo in 13 seconds on Saturday night. The WWE could continue the luck of the Irish and could capitalize of booking Sheamus as the WWE's McGregor. But, instead, the final prediction will be Reigns.
