'iZombie' Season 2 Episode 10: Liv and Clive Patch Things Up in 'Method Head?'
Will Liv and Clive patch things up in "Method Head," the 10th episode of "iZombie" Season 2?
Fashion & Style noted the episode synopsis for the mid-season premiere, which read: "Liv (Rose McIver) gets in touch with her inner actor when investigating the murder of a genre star."
Thus, it may be safe to assume that Liv and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) have decided to stick together and make their partnership work rather than throw everything they had away. Unless is it possible that Liv is only doing the investigation by herself and hoping Clive will ask her assistance later.
In the previous episode, "Capetown" Liv looked into the murder of Chris Allred (guest star Jay Hindle), TV.com noted. Allred called himself "The Fog" as he moonlighted as a justice-seeker vigilante at night. During the day, he was just a normal high school shop teacher.
Sadly, Allred's brain was too much for Liv to bear. She was so much justice-driven that it even drove Clive crazy. The detective ended their working relationship and it disheartened the series' lead, Liv.
TV.com notes that being a zombie who constantly wants to eat brains is truly a difficult challenge. First, Liv sees flashes of memories from the victims of what they felt or even how they were killed. Second, being a member of the undead is just so cyclical and tiring, one will just look for the next brain to chew on. Thus, having this project with Clive makes her more human as she gets to have a greater purpose in her existence.
In "Method Head," Liv will be doing some investigative work about "Zombie High," a series she likes, according to her best friend Peyton (Aly Michalka), as mentioned in Season 1. Fans may expect hilarious scenes basing on the trailer.
Hopefully, the duo will be back together doing their job, as they have other things to worry about like the fate of the people in their circle. Last episode, New Hope, the rat, turned back to being a zombie and Rob Thomas just confirmed on E! News the dreaded truth about former zombies Blaine and Major.
"Now you can pretty much bet that if New Hope is now a zombie, that Blaine (David Anders) and Major's (Robert Buckley) days are counting down as well. So now they have a basic idea where the tainted Utopium might be, and it's a rush to find it," Thomas said.
