A new promo video for Asus Zenfone Zoom has been released. Due to this, Phone Arena assumed that the release of the phone in other markets is happening soon.

Asus Zenfone Zoom is currently available in Taiwan, where the tech giant's headquarter is located. It was released a year after the phone's announcement, Phone Arena's post noted.

With the release of a global promo video for Asus Zenfone Zoom, it triggered speculations that it may be available worldwide soon. Watch the ad below, as originally posted on Asus' official YouTube channel:

One of the most remarkable features of the Asus Zenfone Zoom is its camera equipped with 3X optical zoom functionality.

"ZenFone Zoom is the world's thinnest 3x optical zoom smartphone with an innovative 10-element HOYA lens arrangement for crisp detail - and up to 12x total magnification," the description on the Youtube video noted.

Furthermore, Ubergizmo shared that the phone's primary cam, located on the rear of the device, has a 13MP lens sensor and it offer features such as laser autofocus and a dual LED flash. The camera also comes with a built-in optical image stabilization or OIS functionality, which aims to remove shakes and blurred images.

The description posted on the YouTube video also noted that the Asus Zenfone "redefines expectations for smartphone photography - packing DSLR-style shooting experiences into a metal unibody that tapers to a mere 5mm, so it slides comfortably into a pocket."

As for the Asus Zenfone Zoom's hardware specs, the phone is powered by Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor with PowerVR G6430 for its GPU. Moreover, consumers can choose from models with 2GB and 4GB RAM.

The smartphone has a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Employing ASUS ZenUI, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and its pixel density is 403 ppi.

At launch, the dual-sim phone came pre-installed with Android 5.0 Lollipop. MicroSD slot is available with memory expansion of up to 64GB. Several variants are available in terms of the native storage as there are units with 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB memory capacity.
