Watch: 'Home Alone' Star Macaulay Culkin Reprises Role in Parody Video
After more than two decades, "Home Alone" star Macaulay Culkin reprises his role as Kevin McCallister in a web series titled ":DRYVRS." Reports claim that the series depicts the possible life that Culkin's character had after having a childhood which was showcased in the film.
In 2015, who knew Culkin's character, McCallister will be a taxi driver, one like that of Uber and would be in a dark place, 9News reports. In the series, which was just launched for the holidays online, Culkin's character was seen in the first episode titled "Just Me In The House By Myself."
In the first episode, the series already had a dark theme with Culkin as the all-grown-up McCallister looking distressed while picking up a passenger, which he later on asked to drive as he shared his dark childhood experience being left behind by his family for a week during Christmas.
"How about this, alright. It's Christmas time, it's f****ing Christmas. And your whole family, right, goes on vacation," Culkin was seen as saying as quoted by the publication. "And they forget their eight-year-old son, their eight-year-old f-king son. All by yourself, in the house. For a week," he added.
Then, the concerned passenger responds to him saying, "I'm really sorry man, I did not mean to upset you," however, 35-year-old Culkin seemed to be in ignorance as he continued on with his story saying, "I had to fend off my house, from two psychopath, home invaders. I was just a kid."
The interpretation of the next possible "Home Alone" film had Culkin's character in a troubled state especially when he experienced a traumatic Christmas twice, the second time when he was lost in New York City for the second franchise of the film.
"I still have nightmares about this bald weirdo dude chasing me around, talking like Yosemite Sam. They remembered my bastard of a brother but they forget me, the cutest fu*king eight-year-old in the universe," Culkin added as quoted by News.
The first episode, which is available online also showed another troubling experience for McCallister as he and his passenger were then attempted to be carjacked by another individual. "You picked the wrong car my friend," Culkin then said as quoted by the publication.
Meanwhile, Culkin has yet to comment on his latest project. The Jack Dischel comedy web series ":DRYVRS" is now available to view online.
