Star Wars: The Force Awakens Infinity 3.0 Playset Now on Sale
Star Wars: The Force Awakens Infinity 3.0 Playset went on sale Friday to celebrate the new movie. The Infinity 3.0 playset allows Star Wars fans to recreate their favorite scenes from the movie with physical characters and on-screen with the video game.
The Star Wars: The Force Awakes Infinity 3.0 Playset comes with everything needed to get started playing the interactive game.
The starter set of the playset comes with the Disney Infinity 3.0 video game disc, Finn and Rey figures, the Twilight of the Republic play set and the Disney Infinity Base.
"Millions of fans will be introduced today to the next generation of Star Wars storytelling, and Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition is the only game where they can step into iconic moments from Star Wars: The Force Awakens film," said John Blackburn, SVP and general manager of Disney Infinity.
"The Force Awakens Play Set completes the Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars experience, allowing
fans to play as characters and explore stories from across the entire Star Wars saga," Blackburn said.
Players can purchase the expert pilot Poe Dameron or the First Order enforcer Kylo Ren separately. Additionally, the Power Disc Pack is available to customize the Star Wars experience further.
Infinity 3.0 games feature a combination of physical figurines and digital gameplay shown on a TV. Players can unlock special content and footage by placing their figurines on the Infinity Base or finding special web and mobile codes.
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens Infinity 3.0 Playset will work with the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Wii U consoles. All figures from the Disney 1.0 and Disney 2.0 Infinity editions are compatible with Disney Infinity 3.0 edition figures.
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens Infinity 3.0 Playset will sell for a suggested retail price of $34.99. The Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron figures will each sell for $13.99 and the Power Disc Pack will sell for $19.99.
