'NCIS' Season 13 Spoilers: McGee and Delilah Still Struggling to Find Their way
The road for Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) and Delilah Fielding (Margo Harshman) will continue to be a bumpy one when Season 13 of "NCIS" returns to the CBS airwaves early next year.
Now living with his girlfriend, TVLine reports McGee will struggle mightily with the issue of finding the right gift for her on their first Valentine's Day being under the same roof.
The second half of the season will also continue to feature Dr. Ducky Mallard (David McCallum) as a prominent storyline. When a grisly murder takes place among a group of deep-sea divers, the medical examiner is called upon to conduct a remote autopsy where all the suspects are still huddled together in a dive chamber.
Last week's winter finale found the doctor again thrust into the limelight after his long thought-to-be deceased younger brother mysteriously reemerged.
Showrunner Gary Glasberg recently conceded the ongoing new season has been one of major change, much of it centered around Gibbs (Mark Harmon) struggling to adjust to his new world following last season's near death experience.
Meanwhile, Ellie (Emily Wickersham) and Jake (Jamie Bamber) continue to face the prospect of losing it all after he admits to having an affair with a coworker.
The first half of the season also saw Tony DiNizzo (Michael Weatherly) come face to face with Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson) after Sudanese insurgents attacked a team of volunteer doctors, one of whom happens to be DiNozzo's old flame's new husband.
"It is a huge episode and it sends our team off to assist and rescue a group of doctors who are in trouble," Glasberg said. "It's part of a Doctors Without Borders organization. And Jeanne, who is a doctor, is connected to them."
The show is now on a three week break for the holidays and will return with its midseason premiere (Episode 12) on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016.
