Only one game is left in Week 15 of the NFL Season and a couple of stars have been added to the growing injury list for the season. Buffalo Bills running back LaSean McCoy and Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota both suffered knee injuries in their game on Sunday.

At the start of the second half against the Washington Redskins, McCoy caught a pass from quarterback Tyrod Taylor but immediately went down holding his left knee after being tackled to end the run. He was taken out of the game and did not play the remainder of the 35-25 loss.

Rand Getlin of the NFL Network reported that McCoy has a minor MCL sprain on his right knee and is considered day-to-day. The 27-year-old running back has already missed two games early in the season with a Grade 2 hamstring pull.

Mariota, on the other hand, suffered his second knee injury of the season with about 10 minutes left in the second quarter. The rookie quarterback reportedly has a twisted knee and is not considered serious as he was tackled by New England Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins in the 33-16 loss at Gillette Stadium.

“He’ll play on one leg if you let the guy. I know how he feels. I know he wanted to play, but it was our decision,” interim coach Mike Mularkey said. Zach Mettenberger replaced Mariota, who did not return in the game as a precaution because he has already suffered a left MCL sprain back in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins, per The Tennessean.

As for other significant injuries around the NFL, the Houston Texans are going to be without quarterback T.J. Yates in the final two games after tearing his ACL. Brandon Weeden replaced Yates in the final minutes of the game is expected to start the remaining games.

Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu left their game against the Philadelphia Eagles with either a knee or ankle injury, per Sports Illustrated. The 23-year-old have already torn his left ACL and MCL last season but he leads the Cardinals in tackles and second in interceptions.

NFL.com added that Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (ankle), Cardinals RB David Johnson (knee) and Chicago Bears wideout Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) all suffered injuries in the first half but returned to their respective games in the second half.
