The 2015-16 NBA Fantasy Basketball season will enter its ninth week. Fantasy owners who are looking to move up in their respective leagues should pick up the players who are currently making a lot of noise in the NBA.

Brandon Jennings - Detroit Pistons

Brandon Jennings has yet to play a game this season after suffering an Achilles injury last season, but he is making getting attention in different fantasy leagues.

Jennings is set to make his return to the lineup after playing a game in the NBA D-League, where he finished with 11 points and 12 assists in 27 minutes. The 26-year-old guard averaged 15.4 points and 6.6 assists in 41 games last season in 28 minutes of playing time.

It should be noted, though, that he will be behind Reggie Jackson in the rotation but patient owners could gain reward in the coming months, especially if Jennings will be traded before the deadline.

Bobby Portis - Chicago Bulls

Bobby Portis, who is owned in just 15 percent of all Yahoo Fantasy Basketball leagues, is also worth a serious look after having an impressive night for the Chicago Bulls.

Portis finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds on top of two steals, an assists and two three-pointers during their 107-91 win over the New York Knicks. The rookie forward played 23 minutes against the Knicks, and Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said he might tweak the rotation to make more room for Portis, Nick Friedell reported.

Portis averaged 8.2 points on 51.4 percent shooting to go along with 3.0 rebounds in five games this season. Fantasy owners who have room for experiment should consider picking him up from the waiver wire.

Matt Barnes - Memphis Grizzlies

Matt Barnes is on a roll but is just owned in 51 percent of all fantasy leagues. If the Memphis Grizzlies forward is still available, fantasy owners should pick him up quickly.

Barnes is benefiting from their small-ball lineup, as he has been contributing in almost all categories. Against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, Barnes finished with 15 points on 42.9 percent shooting, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and three three-pointers.

Jared Dudley - Washington Wizards

Jared Dudley is also worth a look and is available in 91 percent of all leagues. He is getting into his rhythm after having an inconsistent start this season. During their 109-101 win against the Charlotte Hornets, Dudley tallied 19 points on 70 percent shooting with three three-pointers on top of nine rebounds, four assists and two steals.
