JoJo Releases Surprise EP ‘#LOVEJO2’
Jojo surprised her fans recently when she released a new four-song EP titled "#LOVEJO2."
The 25-year-old "Leave (Get Out)" singer dropped the collection of songs on Friday, Dec. 18 in honor of her 25th birthday on Sunday, Dec. 20 and as a lead up to her third studio album, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Tracks on the EP include three new jams: "Right on Time," "Back2Life" and "Thinking Out Loud," along with a remix of the song "When Love Hurts," which appeared on her "Tringle" EP.
JoJo appears on the cover of her new EP, flashing a huge smile while sitting on a disco ball with "#LOVEJO2" printed in the center.
The singer headed out on the North America leg of her I Am JoJo Tour on Nov. 2, starting at the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis. She will finish up the trek at the Hi-Ho Lounge in New Orleans on Dec. 20. Next, she will make her way to Europe for dates in Cologne, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Paris and London in March.
"#LOVEJO2" is JoJo's third EP and the follow-up to 2014's "LoveJo," which featured the tracks "Intro," "Caught Up in the Rapture," "Take Me Home" and "Glory." Prior to this, she also released two mixtapes, "Can't Take That Away from Me" and "AgápÄ," in 2010 and 2012, respectively. The last album JoJo released was "The High Road" back in 2006.
This album, which peaked at No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, produced the singles "Too Little Too Late," "How to Touch a Girl" and "Anything."
Before releasing "#LOVEJO2," JoJo last released her EP "Tringle," which included the tracks "When Love Hurts," "Save My Soul" and "Say Love," on Aug. 21. So far, she has released music videos for both "When Love Hurts" and "Say Love." She plans to release a music video for "Save My Soul" as well.
