Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei recently dished about wanting to be like Beyoncé, talked Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran and revealed negative comments on social media.

In an interview with InStyle, the star explained that when she's on stage performing with Fifth Harmony she always has Beyoncé in mind.

The 19-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia revealed that Beyoncé is her alter ego when she hits the stage.

"The way that she's Beyoncé in real life and then Sasha Fierce on stage, I'm Normani in real life and then I pretend to be Beyoncé on stage," she said. "I just love that she's constantly reinventing herself but stays true to who she is as a person-and she wears so many hats in her life."

Another person who Kordei looks up to is singer Taylor Swift, who had Fifth Harmony join her on stage during one of the stops on The 1989 World Tour.

It may have been Swift's tour but instead of having the group join her to sing one of her own songs, the 26-year-old star learned the words and dance routine to the group's hit, "Worth It."

Kordei called performing with Swift "the best experience ever" and praised the star's effort, dedication and support.

As a popular group, Fifth Harmony is used to getting plenty of criticism, and Kordei assures that while they try not to pay attention to the gossip they still are aware of the negative comments on social media.

"People think that celebrities are this untouchable thing, and they forget that we're people with emotions and feelings," she explained. "The fact that they're not saying it in person or face-to-face does not mean that we don't see it, and it doesn't mean that it doesn't matter. Just be kind and put yourself in the other person's shoes."

However, there is one particular comment that the group was ecstatic to read. Back when the group was still relatively unknown, British singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran praised the group after they did a cover of his song "Lego House."

Sheeran tweeted the group with one single but effective word, "incredible." The group members all quickly responded with delight, with Kordei expressing a lot of gratitude for the talented star's praise.

"Ed Sheeran is a fan of ours, and he's supported us from day one...He's really cool and a genuine person," she added.
