Trump: Clinton 'Got Schlonged' by Barack Obama in 2008
Donald Trump resorted to his colorful language on Monday to describe Hillary Clinton's performance during the Dec. 19 Democratic presidential debate and noted the former secretary of state "got schlonged" by Barack Obama in 2008.
The real estate tycoon commented on a bathroom break Clinton had taken during the debate with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, calling the incident "disgusting," CNN reported.
"I know where she went, it's disgusting, I don't want to talk about it," he said. "No, it's too disgusting. Don't say it, it's disgusting, let's not talk, we want to be very, very straight up."
Fired up by the crowd at a campaign event in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the former "Apprentice" star then went on to offer his analysis of the 2008 primary battle, in which Obama surprisingly beat the then-New York senator for the Democratic nomination.
"Even a race to Obama, she was gonna beat Obama. I don't know who would be worse, I don't know, how could it be worse? But she was going to beat -- she was favored to win -- and she got schlonged, she lost, I mean she lost," Trump said, using what the news channel identified as "a vulgar Yiddish word for a man's penis."
While refusing to comment specifically on Trump's remarks, the Clinton camp chided the GOP front-runner on Tuesday morning for what it says was an attack on women in general, according to The Guardian.
"We are not responding to Trump," Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri insisted. "But everyone who understands the humiliation this degrading language inflicts on all women should."
Amid allegations that Russian President Vladimir Putin, who recently praised Trump, was responsible for the deaths of journalists in his country, the Republican candidate also had some choice words for reporters covering his campaign, saying he "hated" some of them.
But, "I would never kill them," he quipped, "I would never do that."
