Adele Defends Son's Sexuality: 'I Will Always Support Him no Matter What'
The multi-awarded singer has been making the headlines after her album's massive success. Adele is known for her raw personality as she's been honest in showing the world on who she really is. The "Chasing Pavements" singer may have won numerous awards, but she would always shy away from the spotlight.
The singer is also open in telling the press and her fans that her son, Angelo, plays a vital role in her life and also her music. During her interview with TIME, Adele openly shared what motherhood for her was like. The "Hello" singer also shared that she would support her son's future endeavors. She told TIME that she'll support her son "no matter what."
"He makes me so proud of myself, and he makes me like myself so much. And I've always liked myself. I've never not liked myself. I don't have hang ups like that. But I'm so proud of myself that I made him in my belly. Cooked him in my belly and then he came out of me! This human who's suddenly walking around and doing his own thing. I can't wait to know who his best friends are going to be, who his girlfriend or his boyfriend is going to be or what movies he likes... Whatever my kid wants to do or be I will always support him no matter what."
As per Huffington Post, Adele have been the LGBT community's music icon as her music helped them reveal their true identity. During an interview with Out Magazine, Adele told them that she could continually get fanmails stating that she as a person make them feel happy about theirselves.
"I get a lot of mail from people who tell me that I make them really happy to be themselves, and really comfortable with who they are, which I love."
In addition to her interview, Adele told TIME that she stays out of the social media in order for her to deliver high quality work. The singer also added that keeping her privacy helped her in creating her music filled with raw emotions
"Privacy is key to being able to write a real record, whether people like it or not, My life has changed so much, but I've made the realest record I can make, and it's the real part of me. How am I supposed to write a real record if I'm waiting for half a million likes on a f***ing photo? That ain't real."
