Former WWE World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan has been out of action since April and his WWE status is still unclear despite being cleared by a concussion doctor for the NFL. Bryan has said in recent interviews that he is open to working the independent circuit again and Jeff Jarrett is interested in bringing him his Global Force Wrestling promotion.

Jarrett recently appeared on "The World According To Wrestling" podcast and said that he is open to working with Bryan if he becomes available, calling him a fantastic talent, per Inside Pulse.

"He's a fantastic talent, it goes without saying. Bryan Danielson connected with that audience. The Yes chants took over. He's a phenomenal in-ring performer. Who wouldn't? If you were running a wrestling promotion who wouldn't want to work with that guy?" the GFW founder said.

The addition of the 34-year-old grappler will be the biggest talent acquisition of GFW if ever they sign Bryan to a deal. Jarrett founded GFW in April 2014 along with wife Karen Jarrett in Nashville, Tennessee, per its official website.

Some of the promotion's wrestlers are former WWE superstars including David Hart Smith, Chris Masters, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Scott Steiner, Luke Gallows, Shelton Benjamin and former WWE Women's champion Mickie James. GFW also has employed former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen as one of its commentators and analysts.

Bryan has said in previous interviews that he is still not cleared by the WWE's doctor, Joseph Maroon, while his personal doctor, who is a doctor for the Arizona Cardinals, has given him a clearance to wrestle again. He was scheduled to see a third doctor to assess his condition but, as of this writing, no details about the result has been released by Bryan or the WWE.

In an interview with The New Paper in Singapore, while doing some promotional work for the WWE, Bryan said that his career with the company may be over. "I think it could be the end of my career in WWE, but I don't think it will be the end of my career. I could find another passion, but it would just be sad because this is what I have been most passionate about since I was five," he said.

Brian added that WWE has offered him non-wrestling roles like being an announcer and an NXT trainer. He told IGN last October that, if WWE won't clear him, he is open to wrestling outside in the independent circuit where he started. Bryan added that he wants to wrestle in Mexico and is open to doing mask versus hair matches.
