Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon Posts Xmas Cards With Picture of Late Ex
A smiling Bobbi Kristina Brown mysteriously appears on a new Christmas card posted to social media by her former boyfriend Nick Gordon.
Hollywood Life reports Gordon took to Twitter and his private account earlier this week to post the pic of himself and Whitney Houston's now deceased daughter. The couple appear smiling and wearing Santa hats.
The 22-year-old daughter Houston bore with Bobby Brown died earlier this year under hospice care, after being rushed to a hospital emergency room six months earlier.
Her ordeal started after she was found face down in the bathtub of the Georgia home she shared with Gordon in early 2015. Authorities have since launched a criminal investigation probing the circumstances of her death, which reportedly targets Gordon as a primary suspect.
In addition, he has been slapped with a multimillion dollar wrongful death suit filed by the conservator of her estate Bedelia Hargrove, alleging that on the day Bobbi Kristina Brown was hospitalized, Gordon gave her a "toxic cocktail" that essentially rendered her defenseless.
Making Gordon's latest act all the more surprising is the fact the picture he posted seems to suggest his girlfriend is still alive and makes no mention of him missing her.
Word is the card is from an old picture of the two and has been photo-shopped to place the couple in matching Santa hats under the caption "Merry Christmas."
Gordon remains estranged from the Brown family and was banned from visiting Bobbi Kristina Brown at the hospital during her illness or attending formal services for her.
Whitney Houston died roughly three years before her daughter, when she too was found face down in the bathtub of the Beverly Hills hotel where she was staying. Authorities have since revealed she had drugs in her system at the time of her death.
Bobbi Kristina Brown has since been buried alongside her mother at a cemetery in their native New Jersey.
