Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is the fourth chapter in the blockbuster film series Transformers. The latest science fiction action movie, starring Mark Wahlberg, is the follow-up to the last Transformer sequel, Dark of the Moon. It will be set four years after Chicago was invaded.

Directing the movie is Michael Bay with Steven Spielberg as executive producer (similar to the previous Transformers movies). Ehren Kruger wrote the screenplay. (He also wrote the script for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.) 

Transformers 4 presents a whole new cast and Dinobots. Previous Transformers characters Bumblebee, Optimus Prime and Ratchet are included in this film as well.

Spoilers of the movie have surfaced about Mark Wahlberg's character Cade Yeader, an inventor who buys an old truck one day to find out it's Optimus Prime in hiding, eventually triggering the return of the other transformers. His storyline includes new characters like his daughter Tessa Yeager and her boyfriend Shane Dyson.

  • T.J. Miller as Lucas, a mechanic and best friend of Cade
  • Titus Welliver as Savoy (the team leader of agents employed by Attinger)
  • Li Bingbing as Su Yueming, Chinese Transformers CEO
  • Melanie Specht, the Grande Dame, senior executive assistant of Joshua
  • Victoria Summer, executive assistant of Joshua

The other cast includes Han Geng, Austin Lin, Byron Li, Teresa Daley and Candice Zhao. Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is coming to cinemas on June 27, 2014 in 3D and IMAX.
