'Real Housewives of News Jersey' Star Teresa Giudice Sports Luxury Bag, SUV Since Prison Release
Teresa Giudice has been home from prison less than a week following her sentence for fraud, but the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star already finds herself embroiled in controversy.
Radar Online reports after coming home to a $90,000 Lexus luxury SUV, the 43-year-old was recently spotted out and about carrying a $2,500 Valentino bag, raising eyebrows all over town.
"The purse isn't new, and she bought it sometime before going to prison earlier this year," a source close to the reality star claimed. Be that as it may, Giudice is quickly learning that her every move is now under increased scrutiny.
"Why is everyone criticizing Teresa," a source added, hinting that the star feels she should be forgiven since she served her sentence. "She is just trying to live her life, work, and spend time with the family."
Giudice has been welcomed back to her Towaco home by her husband of 16 years, Joe, and her four young daughters. Although she remains under house arrest for at least the next two months, she is allowed to leave home to run errands and film scenes for her return to "Real Housewives."
Over the Christmas holidays, the family spent time with in-laws Joe and Melissa Gorga, and the families now insist they've patched up their longtime differences.
Reports have long circulated that Bravo network officials are so excited to have Giudice return to the cast of "RHONJ" they put off filming for the upcoming season until after her prison release so she could be featured in more of the scenes.
Rumors are Giudice is commanding a salary as high as $2 million and has also signed on to ink a prison tell-all about her time behind bars.
Joe Giudice is scheduled to soon commence serving out his 41-month sentence on the same fraud charges his wife was convicted of.
