After a month-long of waiting and checking out "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star's social media posts, Kim Kardashian has finally posted a photo, giving a glimpse of her newborn son Saint West.

The public persona had always shared every bit of herself to her followers, but when it comes to her children, Kardashian is very private. However, she often shares tidbits of her parenting life to her 58 million followers, including her Saturday's post on her website and Instagram.

Showing the hand of Saint and her first-born daughter North West, as the newborn held North's finger, Kardashian wrote on Instagram, "She said 'He's my best friend.'" Of course, in just minutes, the post went viral as it is the first time that the reality star shared any photo of Saint since his birth.

Baby Saint was born on Dec. 5 in Los Angeles, according to People. It was said to be a surprise since the newborn son of Kardashian and husband Kanye West was supposed to be delivered three weeks after, around Christmas time.

Furthermore, a source told the magazine that "[Kim] had a really tough birth because of the issues with her placenta.". The condition apparently required the doctor to take out her placenta by hand since her condition involves her placenta growing too deeply into her uterine wall.

However, despite the high-risk pregnancy, Kardashian was able to deliver well and came out healthy. "She had some pretty intense anxiety the last couple of days and especially yesterday just before the baby came," the source added of the birth. "But everything went according to plan."

SMH further reported that Saint weighed 3.60 kilograms at birth, and after several speculations that he might be named South West or any other direction just like his older sister, Kardashian revealed his name days later via a Twitter post.

Meanwhile, Kardashian also shared her New Year's Resolution for 2016 on her website, sharing that she would like to lose 23 kilograms that she gained during pregnancy.

"In the next coming months I'd obviously like to shed the baby weight. That's the big one to accomplish first! I'd also like to finish our home next year, so we're working hard to make decisions and meet deadlines so it gets done. I'd like to do some really cool photo shoots for my website," she wrote.
