Finally, "Killer Instinct" Season 3 is on its way to the shelves. Creative director Adam Isgreen sat down for a Twitch interview recently to reveal more details about the upcoming season of the fighting game including its characters, exclusivity and more.

According to a report from DSO Gaming, Isgreen confirmed a March 2016 release date for the third season of "Killer Instinct" on PC. It is set to debut on a limited platform as the executive also announced the title will be exclusive to the new Windows 10.

Fans of the game will be psyched to find out that there are currently two confirmed characters to appear on the next installment. Game favorites Tusk and Kim Wu have been revealed as two of the names available upon the launch date, with retro costumes in tow to bring to mind their appearances in the previous versions of the game.

Aside from the confirmed pair, more characters will reportedly be available upon the release of "Killer Instinct" Season 3 than there were in the past seasons. However, most of them are expected to feature tweaks and adjustments to compensate for the changes that will come in the new season.

DSO Gaming also reiterated the cross-playing feature of "Killer Instinct," offered by developer Double Helix, between Xbox One and PC.

A comprehensive post on Reddit listed down the new information gathered from Isgreen's interview such as an updated Dojo tutorial and more community bundles due to the success of the Shadow Jago Fund Raiser. This time, the fundraisers will be determined by the community, so they could still experience the characters or features that weren't included in the final cut of the game.

Two "Killer Instinct" characters, confirmed not to be Glacius, Aganos or Shadow Jago, will be part of the roster but "re-worked" so their set-ups and methods for the gain meter will be different from past appearances.

Although Isgreen didn't confirm it, pop culture tropes and a vampire character are expected to be introduced in the new season. Guest characters will likely appear including Eyedol and Gargos. New accessories for the characters will also be part of the launch, plus upcoming DLC for the players post-release.

More details will be revealed about "Killer Instinct" Season 3 during the Pax South in San Antonio, Texas at the end of January.

What are you looking forward to the most in the new season of "Killer Instinct"?
