Hillary Clinton Promises to Look Into UFOs, Area 51
Hillary Clinton wants to investigate UFOs and the classified military site Area 51 if she is elected president of the United States.
Last week, when Clinton was in New Hampshire for a campaign stop, a reporter reminded her that he asked her about UFOs back in 2007, the Huffington Post reports.
Daymond Steer of the Conway Daily Sun previously asked Clinton about UFOs, and when he saw her last week, he asked her again about the possibility of alien life.
Clinton seemed to remember speaking to Steer back in 2007 and responded positively to his request.
"Yes, I'm going to get to the bottom of it," Clinton said.
Clinton in 2007 indicated the No. 1 topic of Freedom of Information Act requests received by her husband, former President Bill Clinton, in his library was the existence of UFOs.
Bill Clinton visited late night TV show host Jimmy Kimmel and told him that he "wouldn't be surprised" if aliens visited the planet someday. He also told Kimmel that he tried to look into Area 51, but did not find out much information.
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton believes that it is possible that UFOs have already visited planet Earth.
She said that she also wanted to find out more information about Area 51, the secret military base in Nevada. Many believe that Area 51 contains evidence of aliens gathered by the government.
Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman John Podesta, who is a big UFO fanatic, has urged her to look into Area 51 as well.
"He has made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out," Hillary Clinton said. "One way or another. Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51."
Podesta wants to "open the books" on government investigations of UFOs. He says Americans have the right to know the truth on the subject.
Steer said that his conversation with Hillary Clinton was lighthearted, but with Podesta at her side, he would not be surprised if she really does investigate UFOs.
