Kate Middleton, Prince William Expecting Third Baby? Royal Pregnancy Reports Emerge on Prince George’s First Day at School
There are some new developments on the lives of the world's most followed royal couple, Kate Middleton and Prince William. Aside from being proud and supportive parents to their son, Prince George, who enjoyed his first day of school on Tuesday, Jan. 5, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly expecting their third child.
The latest royal pregnancy reports were not the first for the royal couple as they faced the same issues last year. And according to Hollywood Life, Prince William and Duchess Kate wasted no time giving Prince George and Princess Charlotte a new sibling. The report further claimed that the royal couple announced the baby news to their families during the Christmas holiday, in which Prince Harry was reportedly so thrilled that he was jumping up and down while cheering.
"Kate and William have always wanted to have a large family," a Life & Style insider said. "But they didn't think they would be expecting baby No. 3 quite so soon."
The source also added that the 33-year-old Duchess is roughly two months along and is quite nervous to have three children under the age of three.
Kate Middleton's pregnancy rumors came after the royals released two new photos of Prince George. Daily Mail reported the two-year-old throne successor has officially started nursery school at Westacre Montessori School, which was handpicked by his parents. In one of the photos, the toddler prince was staring at the camera in front of a painted mural, while the other snap showed him pointing at the art while smiling.
Prince George won't be at school on a daily basis. As a matter of fact, he will attend his new nursery two or three days a week, starting with sessions lasting a few hours but building up to half a day. The school is also ten miles away from the family's Norfolk estate. But palace insiders insisted that the couple's choice of nursery does not suggest they will be living in Norfolk full time. However, it is clear that they consider Anmer Hall as their main home.
Aside from pregnancy reports, Kate Middleton and Prince William are reportedly Britain's newest king and queen. Ok! Magazine (via The Hollywood Gossip) broke the story that Queen Elizabeth II forced Prince Charles to give up the throne in favor of his eldest son, William. The publication further claimed that the Duke of Cambridge is now the monarch of the U.K. and Commonwealth realms.
"They are so incredibly excited," the insider claimed. "They always knew this day might come. They just never expected it so soon. It took a minute to sink in. Kate hugged and kissed William, and it was a completely overwhelming moment for them. When Kate told George, 'Mummy is going to be Queen,' he went off to draw a family portrait and castle!"
While being a monarch is a job for life and one that the Queen will surely do until her last breath, the report claimed that the royal matriarch wanted to enjoy her life with her 94-year-old husband Prince Philip. Thus, she chose to relinquish her responsibilities as the Queen.
