Microsoft recently teased its plans for 2016, including a new crop of backwards-compatible games on Xbox One.

Xbox marketing executive Mike Nichols confirmed that over a hundred Xbox 360 games will be rendered playable on Microsoft's current-gen console this year. He also shared some of the company's immediate goals for the Xbox One.

"Since Xbox One Backward Compatibility released on November 12 with more than 100 playable titles, global Xbox gamers have logged more than 15 million hours playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One," said Nichols, as per Daily Express. "As we close a record 2015 for Xbox, there is even more in store for gamers in 2016."

He added that 2016 will be a far better year than 2015. Aside from the additional batch of backwards-compatible games, Microsoft is also set to release more exclusive titles, new Xbox Live patches and features, including Cortana and background music functionality on Xbox One.

Meanwhile, Rockstar's next wave of "GTA 5" DLCs will allegedly focus on "GTA Online," more specifically it will add bonus content to the recently released "Lowriders" expansion pack.

According to Master Herald, new customizable vehicles will be released on Feb. 9. It will be followed by another content drop on Feb. 14. Dubbed as "Lowriders Part 2," the upcoming DLC features an events weekend and an all-new Adversary mode.

Treyarch design director David Vonderhaar recently revealed some of the future plans for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." He also answered the top questions from fans related to the title, which launched last Nov. 6 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and Windows.

Asked if Treyarch had immediate plans of limiting the number of times a map could be chosen in a row, Vonderhaar said on Twitter:

Another fan inquired if there will be a patch soon that would make emblems and paint jobs downloadable. To that, Vonderhaar had some bad news. He said the chances of that particular update being rolled out is not good, but the studio hasn't given up on it just yet.

The game director also announced that a new hotfix has been made available for "Black Ops 3," making considerable changes to the game including adjustments to Scorestreaks.

"Here we go again. 43*.29.5," Vonderhaar wrote. "Control bugs with Scorestreaks. Exploits patched. And a fix for teammates grieving your Scorestreaks in HC."
