'Nuestra Belleza Latina' 2014 Recap: All Six Contestants Remain; Beauties Open Up About Experiences
Nuestra Belleza Latina started with six contestants, and it ended in the same way.
In the end, it still managed to be a surprising and exciting episode.
The show started off with each of the contestants giving special presentations. Jomari Goyso took a somewhat serious position when he asked audiences to not be critical of the remaining beauties. He said to be supportive because everyone there was a Latino. Jencarlos Canela, on the other hand, lightened the mood. He had Easter eggs for his fellow judges, according to Univision.
The judges were able to give their opinions and evaluate the growth of each of the contestants.
Lupita Jones was tough because she wants the contestants to keep challenging themselves. Osmel Sousa showed that he had favorites, and Canela continued to be a support system for the women.
The beauties put on quite the show this week.
Nabila Tapia, who was the first to appear, spoke about her interview with Paul Stanley and what it was like to shoot at the cemetery. She wore a purple leotard, and like all the contestants, danced and modeled on a lit up stage. Josephine Ochoa was next, and she was carried by four men. She also spoke about her strengths, and how she struggled working with animals on challenges.
Alina Robert may have accomplished a lot this season, such as winning a shoot for Seventeen and even a role in a movie, but this is the third time she auditioned for the show. Aleyda Ortiz, who wore a fiery red, and she has inspired women on the show through her weight loss accomplishments.
Maria Elena was a vision in white, but despite her charisma, she hasn't been able to gain much support from the public. And Aly Villegas was confident that she was the winner.
The beauties were broken up into three groups and faced their own special challenges. The first group read important news from a teleprompter as they walked on a treadmill. The second did a scene with a contestant from "Pequeños Gigantes," and the last group had to narrate a soccer game alongside Fernando Fiore. This meant a lot of improvisation.
Aly Villegas, Alina Robert and Aleyda Ortiz ended up being the bottom three, and though Villegas only has 5 percent of the support, she and the other beauties were spared.
