It looks like Sheldon will turn to his "spirit guides" for guidance in his life when "The Big Bang Theory" returns with an all-new episode this Thursday.

In the last installment of the popular TV series, Sheldon was confused about what to do with his future. One of the highlights from the episode was when he fell asleep with a geology book and began drunk-dialing Stephen Hawking, reports CarterMatt.com.

In the upcoming episode, which is called "The Anything Can Happen Recurrence," Leonard will try to help Sheldon get out of a funk since he feels completely lost in his job and is ready to give up his pursuit in a string theory concept because it's not giving him any tangible results.

The official trailer for Episode 7.21 shows Sheldon reluctantly going along with Leonard's plans and ending up at a psychic with Penny. CarterMatt predicts that Sheldon could be seeking out a psychic in order to figure out what he wants to do with his life next. In the meantime, it appears in a preview photo that Penny attends the psychic reading with Sheldon simply for a good laugh.

In one video clip, the psychic says to Sheldon, "your spirit guides are telling me that you're in a romantic relationship." However, Sheldon disgruntledly responds saying "my spirit guides can go suck an egg."

Hypable.com also points out that Raj will continue to pursue his relationship with Emily.

BroadwayWorld posted the official synopsis for "The Anything Can Happen Recurrence" which states: "When Sheldon tries to be spontaneous, it leads to unexpected friction between Penny, Amy and Bernadette. Meanwhile, Raj seeks Howard's help in preparing for a date with Emily."

Guest stars in the episode include Laura Spencer playing Emily and Kimberly Hebert Gregory as Ms. Davora.

"The Big Bang Theory" S7E21, "The Anything Can Happen Recurrence," will air on Thursday, April 24 at 8:00 p.m. EDT on CBS.
