The NBA released the third voting returns on Thursday for the 2016 All-Star Game in Toronto with Kobe Bryant still leading all players with more than 1.5 million votes. Reigning MVP Stephen Curry and LeBron James are second and third overall, respectively, while Carmelo Anthony moves to third place in the Eastern Conference frontcourt, per NBA.com.

According to the publication, many fans want to see Bryant play one final All-Star game before his final game at the end of the season. It looks like a sure starter as he leads the race for all players with a total of 1,533,423 votes and could get more as the voting doesn't end until Jan. 18.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend is not having an All-Star season averaging only 17.3 points -- his lowest since his sophomore season back in 1998. He is also shooting a career-worst of 35.0 percent from the field and 77.6 percent from the free throw line, per Basketball Reference.

But does he deserve an all-star spot? Bleacher Report said that his teammates, NBA players and coaches think so. Here's what some of them have to say if Kobe deserves to be in the All-Star game in his final season.

"He's the GOAT. He deserves to be in the All-Star Game. He's been a great champion and an ambassador to this game, so it's not out of the realm that he would be leading in the All-Star votes," Lakers teammate Roy Hibbert said as quoted by the news outlet.

"He deserves it. He's done so much for the game, and the fans love him. And they've been loving him for a long time. So he deserves it, man. It's his last year," Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant said told Bleacher Report.

"I don't want to speak for all the coaches, but it would be more of a respect thing in terms of what he's done in this league for a long period of time," Thunder head coach Billy Donovan said.

"It's just a testament to what he's meant to the game," Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder added.

If the voting ended today, Bryant will be joined in the Western Conference frontcourt by Kevin Durant and Golden State's Draymond Green with Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook as the starting guards. For the Eastern Conference, LeBron James, Paul George, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade will be joined by Kyrie Irving despite the Cavaliers guard missing most of the season due to a knee injury.

The 65th NBA All-Star Game will be held in Toronto, Canada on Valentine's Day 2016. Starters will be announced on Jan. 21 at 7:00 p.m. ET live on NBA on TNT in a one-hour special. You can view the latest voting results here.
