On the latest "NCIS," the team dealt with a sexual assault cover-up in the U.S. Navy. 

In "Alleged," the team suspects that a rape could be tied to the recent murder of a Navy ensign.

A Navy ensign by the name of Tate is found dead, and signs on his corpse indicate that he was in a fight. 

The NCIS team visits Tate's roommate, Ensign Burke, and his first words are "I didn't do it," even before they tell him Tate was found dead. 

It turns out Tate and Burke had been at a bar drinking together, and Burke left early while Tate decided to stay a bit longer. Tate got into a fight with another man over a woman, so the barkeep threw them both out. 

The NCIS team finds that Tate reported an assault to NCIS on behalf of his friend Holly, who denied it ever happened. Holly is brought in for questioning, and she continues to deny that she was ever sexually assaulted. 

They find out that Holly had been out partying with one of her fellow junior officers one night and began to feel incredibly intoxicated, even though she had only drank two margaritas. She said she left early, then woke up the next morning feeling beaten up. 

She pretended that nothing happened, but Tate began questioning her when he noticed she was behaving oddly. 

After having a poignant heart-to-heart with Abby (Pauley Perrette), Holly changes her mind about sharing her story, and decides to tell NCIS everything. 

She admits to the NCIS team that she purchased a rape kit. 

Meanwhile, Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) try to track down the man with whom Tate had an altercation at the bar. 

They luckily find the man, but discover that he nothing to do with Holly. Tate got beaten up after he intervened to try to stop the man from acting inappropriate toward a female patron. 

After some more investigating, NCIS finds out that when the bartender threw Tate and the other man out of the bar, he accidentally threw Tate into the dumpster at an angle that led to a fatal injury. 

Meanwhile, Abby gets the results from Holly's rape kit, and it's negative for DNA, but positive for ketamine.

McGee (Sean Murray) then finds that Lieutenant Monica King had ketamine in her system from when she was treated for a separated shoulder. NCIS questions King, who has since left the Navy. She tells a similar story to Holly's, that she went out for drinks and felt incredibly impaired after only two drinks. 

When she told her commanding officer, Wexler, he said there was nothing he could do about sexual assault if she couldn't provide a name. 

Wexler is then accused of assaulting female subordinates, and the team is able to implicate him for the multiple assaults. 

On the next episode, "Shooter," a Marine photographer disappears prior to testifying in a high-profile Afghanistan murder case. The NCIS team investigate the homicide he witnessed and his current piece on military veterans who are homeless. Meanwhile, Abby tries to help a young homeless woman reconnect with her family."

"Shooter" airs at 8 p.m. on Tues., April 29 on CBS.
