'NCIS' Season 13 Spoilers: Crew Probes Internatonal Human Trafficking Ring in 'Deja Vu' Episode
The "NCIS" crew stumbles across an international human-trafficking ring while probing the murder of a seaman scheduled to soon go before a grand jury.
TV Guide reports the "Déjà Vu" episode will mark the show's return from a brief hiatus and highlight its first show since the airing of a two-part crossover show with "NCIS: New Orleans."
A recently released preview clip of upcoming episode also reveals it is filled with an array of twists and turns, including Agent McGee (Sean Murray) being forced to hunker down with a colleague after deteriorating conditions force him from the comforts of his own abode.
Later, a woman's body is seen mysteriously falling out of a dump truck and DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) frantically approaching his boss Gibbs (Mark Harmon) to alert him he sees trouble ahead.
Finally, yet another scene captures Bishop (Emily Wickersham) lecturing the team about the epidemic of college age girls being abducted and sold to the highest bidders all over the world. The trailer wraps with a disturbed Palmer (Brian Dietzen) sharing with her he's now more affected by such evil in the world than ever before now that he himself has become a father.
Amazingly, Bishop is somehow finding the strength to deal with all this while going through her own marriage woes with Jake (Jamie Bamber).
International Business Times reports the couple's ongoing divorce saga is still playing out. During the second half of the two-part crossover episode, the former NSA agent reflected she has already internalized the realization that her marriage is over and finds it surprising so many others are expecting her to feel any differently than she does.
"NCIS" season 13 returns to the airwaves on Jan. 19. The series also stars Pauley Perrette as Abby Sciuto, Rocky Carroll as Leon Vance and David McCallum as Donald "Ducky" Mallard.
