Reigning UFC Women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm is all set to make her first title defense against Miesha Tate, someone she knows will be a whole lot different.

Both fighters have one thing in common: they both faced Rousey and lasted more than one round. The only difference is that Holm won and Tate lost.

Could that be a factor when the two face off at UFC 197 this March?

One thing their match carries is respect. There is no drama or trash talk, things that fans normally expect when Ronda Rousey is involved. This fight stands to be a scientific one as both try to look for the holes to get the advantage.

With a rare calmness in the air, Tate admits that she has a different feeling compared to her past Rousey fights.

“It's just a different kind of feeling leading into this fight,” says Tate via the Daily Mail. “I'm a fan of respectfulness, and I think Holly is a true sportsman. It's a good match up.”

On her end, Holm is likely to say the same thing though she does admit that the pressure is on her to win.

"There's a lot of pressure behind it," Holm said via the Las Vegas Review Journal. "Anticipation on what I'm going to do after the last fight. There's a lot of high expectations, and you know, who wants to be a one-hit wonder, right?"

Everyone knows that Holm needs to win against Tate to keep the rematch with Ronda Rousey alive. That is something the UFC wants to make but everything will depend on how Holm will fend off Tate’s challenge.

A more pressing question, however, is when in 2016 Rousey plans to come back.

In a previous post, she made a vow to return and avenge her loss against Holm. Rousey is currently busy fulfilling her commitments in Hollywood, and her return could very well take shape once her schedule is freed up.

Holm couldn't care less though. She is more focused on Tate and other possible fighters who are still passionate about their UFC career, instead of being concerned on what Rousey plans to do in the future.

"I think that I would rather meet someone in the cage when they're passionate about it. I don't want it to be because they feel like they have to or it's expected or other people are curious about it. It's Ronda's life. I want her to do what she wants to do," says Holm via Fox Sports.

Regardless, Holm is ready for anything. She is ready for Tate’s challenge and that much-awaited rematch with Rousey (hopefully) before 2016 closes.
