Prague, the capital city of Czech Republic is known as the "city of a thousand spires." It is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations filled with scenic landscapes and beautiful skylines. The city features Europe's architectural masterpieces adorned with Baroque, Renaissance and Gothic structures.
Prague is one of the largest cities in Europe and it is also one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites luring tourist to flock all year round. Located within the Hradcany area, the Prague Castle was once the home of Bohemia's royalties and is the official residence of Czech Republic's President. The castle was built back in 970 A.D. and is now one of the most popular tourist spots. The entire castle is filled with numerous tour sites such as the famous St. Vitus Cathedral, the Powder Tower, St. George's Basilica, and the Golden Lane.
Prague's National Art Gallery houses most of Europe historic art pieces back in the 19th to the 21st century. The structure was built in 1952, with a touch of modern structure. It is filled with different art forms such as paintings, sculptures, photography and art installations mostly from Czech artists. Art works from Monet and Picasso however are also included in the collection.
The John Lennon Wall stood as a tribute to the former Beatle who was murdered back in December 8, 1980. An image of the singer was painted on a wall which is said to look like a tombstone along with some of The Beatles' song lyrics. The wall is the property of the Knights of Malta, and has been painted repeatedly. The authorities never managed to win the ongoing graffiti war, they eventually gave up and kept the wall.

The restaurant is one of the most popular destinations in the city as it gathers both the locals and tourists alike. The famous beer serving destination has been running for 550 years and is known for its x-Beer 33. The popular beverage contains high alcohol content (11.8 percent). It is done by fermenting the beer for six months in an oak barrel. The restaurant also offers locals dishes such as their popular roast beef in sour cream.
